Our position require a full commitment to owning the local weather brand and requires a four-year degree in meteorology. KTEN-TV, the NBC affiliate and the CW affiliate on digital 10.2 in Sherman,TX/Ada market is seeking a Production Manager/Creative Services Director to supervise production department personnel and oversee daily news production operations. Additionally, will be responsible for some internet/web ventures. This individual will be maintaining one of the busiest and most respected news and production operations in the area! Requires a Bachelor`s degree in video production or related field and/or minimum 2 years equivalent work experience in TV or video production. Previous supervisory experience a plus. Individual should posses excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Candidate should have advanced production editing and shooting skills and basic production engineering skills, and the ability to use a Final Cut Pro non-linear editing system. Knowledge of Chyron, AP News system is a plus! Must have working knowledge of business procedures including all aspects of news and commercial production. KTEN, the NBC affiliate in Sherman/Ada market, has a rare opportunity for a full-time TD/Director (for our Weekday, evening newscasts), seeking to relocate to a market in the shadows of Dallas, Oklahoma City and Tulsa. This full-time position requires the ability to lead a crew in executing an innovative live broadcast format on a multi-venue set with a heavy emphasis on local and live remotes. You`ll be working with state of the art equipment, so experience using a 2 and a half m/e switcher, PVTV automation and tapless playback system is helpful but not a requirement. The successful candidate must be able to multi-task while handling traditional TD/Director duties. You will need a minimum of 2 years solid directing and switching experience.
