The successful candidate will report, shoot, edit and operate a live ENG truck. KTEN?s news and engineering staff will train the individual on all aspects of running a live ENG truck. College degree or equivalent required. Prior experience is not essential but certainly is preferred. A good driving record and valid driver`s license are required. Duties will include, timing show, create newscast rundowns, graphics, and stories (including, but not limited to, shooting, editing, and writing) for daily newscasts. Work in close cooperation with newscast directors and technical staff to guide and supervise the daily newscasts in the control room. Operate producer work station in control room and communicate with all personnel involved, before and during each newscast for flawless newscast production. College degree or equivalent required. Current enrollment in a college or university majoring in broadcast journalism, communications, public relations or related field. Applicants must be reliable, eager to learn and have completed all basic writing and foundation related classes.
