KTEN-TV, the NBC & CW affiliate serving the Sherman/Ada/Ardmore region (Market 161), seeks a Producer for our daily newscasts. You will work in close cooperation with news management and anchors to execute stations news philosophy and judgment. Duties will include, timing show, create newscast run downs, graphics, and stories (including, but not limited to, shooting, editing, and writing) for daily newscasts. Work in close cooperation with newscast directors and technical staff to guide and supervise the daily newscasts in the control room. Operate producer work station in control room and communicate with all personnel involved, before and during each news cast for flawless newscast production. College degree or equivalent required. Current enrollment in a college or university majoring in broadcast journalism, communications, public relations or related field. Applicants must be reliable, eager to learn and have completed all basic writing and foundation related classes.
